Snowy Mespilus

(Amelanchier ovalis)

Snowy Mespilus belongs to the wild bushes, whose fruits are edible. The blossoms of the Snowy Mespilus are pollinated by insects like honeybees, bumblebees, hoverflies and various butterfly species. Even the fruits of the Snowy Mespilus are an important food source for many insects and especially for birds.
